Yifeng Chen

Yifeng Chen currently holds the position of General Counsel at Plaisance Capital Management, where he provides strategic legal oversight for due diligence, business transactions, and portfolio company management.

Yifeng brings diverse legal experience to his role, with previous experience including the U.S. District Court Eastern District of New York, the legal department at Consolidated Edison, the New York Attorney General's Office, the New York Supreme Court, and two boutique law firms in New York City.  

Yifeng holds a B.A. in Sociology and Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.  He is also an alumnus of the Sonia and Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program, a recipient of the New York State Bar Association Kenneth G. Standard Program, the New York State Bar Dispute Resolution Section Diversity Scholarships, and an awardee of the CALI Award of Excellence.

In addition to his professional commitments, Yifeng is actively engaged in his community, serving as the Secretary for the Asian Affairs Committee of the New York City Bar Association and as Secretary for the Sonia and Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program.
